Jeff has more than a decade of experience working as a magazine writer and creative consultant for clients across industries. He is available for news and feature writing, brand strategy, custom content development, ghostwriting, copywriting, SEO articles, script writing, and podcast hosting.

As a former development officer for the Chicago Botanic Garden, Jeff annually secured hundreds of thousands of dollars in grant funding from corporate donors, foundations, and government agencies. His technical writing has been recognized with a Jesse H. Neal Award, the most prestigious editorial honor in the field of business-to-business media. He is adept at distilling technical subjects for everyday readers.

After graduating with a Master of Fine Arts degree in Fiction from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, Jeff spent several years working as the senior editor at a small publishing house. Books under his editorial direction were featured in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and on NPR's Weekend Edition. He assists clients with content structure, copyediting, tone, Chicago and AP style, and manuscript development.
